As per this collaboration, participants of the Film School Network 2021 event will have the opportunity to attend the Lucca Film Festival 2021 and take part in this experience in addition to the general activities planned for FSN 2021.

Film School Network 2021: What you need to know

The 3rd edition of FSN’s annual event takes place on October 9-10 in Lucca, Tuscany. This year’s event will circle around the theme of “Brave New Cinéma: living and filmmaking in the post-apocalyptic. world”.

FSN2021 is a networking opportunity for professors and individuals active in film education to promote new ideas and share best practices. FSN aims to discover and share all best practices relating to education and management in the world of film schools. Different techniques established by other countries have incalculable worth since they provide distinct points of view to comprehend and communicate.

The FSN 2021 event will feature a variety of events, including panels and talks, chances for exchange and networking, screening and analysis of films made by our members’ students, and more!

Film School Network and Lucca Film Festival Join Froces


The 2021 edition of the Lucca Film Festival and Europa Cinema will be an immersive, hybrid event – taking place from October 1st to 10th in Lucca – with Gus Van SantMatt DillonDavid Cronenberg, and Kenneth Branagh as some of its guests (attendance to be confirmed).

This festival will include screenings, digital meetings, and live events, such as Effetto Cinema Notte, which has been engaging the community with innovative and creative performance programs for years while always complying with safety requirements in ways that will be unveiled in September.

The festival’s homage to Nino Manfredi on the 100th anniversary of his birth, which includes a selection of his films, a special exhibition, and visitors from his “cinema,” is one of the festival’s highlights.
